A Wild Smile!

Today I took the kids to the dentist for a routine checkup, and for Boston's follow up appointment after his tooth disaster a couple of weeks ago (if you have no clue what I'm talking about please refer to the previous post "Impromptu Photo Shoot"), and despite a lot of anxiety from both kids about pokies (shots) and "losing" their teeth it went really well.

I was almost sure Boston was going to have his teeth pulled because the front two turned nearly black (yes, we do actually brush his teeth! :), but we lucked out and the roots are starting to heal so he can keep his teeth for another couple of years! I am also happy to report that they didn't have any cavities, which is an absolute miracle since they eat so much junk food... but I guess their Thomas the Tank Engine toothpaste actually works!

Doesn't she look so relaxed?!? LOL

Boston on the other hand acts likes its a day at the beach!

PS. For those of you wondering why my kids are sporting shades, no, they aren't too cool for school... the pediatric dentist gives everybody sunglasses so the bright lights don't shine in their eyes... pretty good idea!

Miami Dolphins Game!

This past Sunday (shh! don't tell we broke the sabbath) we had an absolute blast at the Broncos/Miami Dolphin game! We were finally able to see our good friend John Denney (who plays for the Miami Dolphins) in action! Tyler and John have been BFF since they were in the womb and this was the first time Tyler has been able to see him play (live) since he has been in the NFL! After the game we were able to go down and see him and the other players.. I must say it was a little nuts to see all the fans lining up for signatures, shouting his name and asking for pictures... It was quite the experience & we loved every minute -- thanks John and Christy!!

Go Cougars!

Last night we left the kids at home (thanks Nia) and headed to Ft. Collins to catch the BYU VS. CSU game! It was a great game and kept us on the edge of our seats! I love going to these games! It is always so fun to see the family and especially my sister in laws!! I'm counting down to the big Air Force game!! Go Cougars!

Happy Halloween 2008!

Happy Halloween! We had a a very busy night starting out with a little Stapleton Trick or Treating, then we headed to Aunt Heidi's for a spooky dinner, next off to see Grandpa Clarkie handing out candy, now to the Thorntons bash and last to see Grandma Shirley! I can't believe we fit it all in! The kids were so cute, it's so fun to see them grow up and get more and more excited about trick or treating, the Easter Bunny and Santa Claus!

A cheerleader and a prego kitten!
We didn't have a shortage of trick or treaters, thats for sure!
