What a STUD!

This morning we woke up to a very complimentary and exciting article about Uncle Andrew (who is a tight end for BYU, #88!) in the Rocky Mountain News! Way to go Mr. George, we can't wait to see you this weekend at CSU!

Impromptu Mini Photo Shoot

While up at Craig Carlson's barn yesterday I had Ty snap a couple pictures of the kids and I before Boston potentially loses his front tooth (for those of you who haven't heard, Bos launched off the couch the other day straight into his sister's amazingly hard head...After about a gallon of blood and 4200 tears, we made it to the pediatric dentist to get the tooth moved back into place and some x-rays... Long story short he has some root damage and his front white sparkler might fall out and, unfortunately, he could be toothless for the next 5 years!) Anyway, I thought these turned out cute.. a

Trunk or Treat

Saturday was our annual Trunk or Treat at church... The kids had a blast, gathered quite the loot and looked adorable while doing it all!

She thinks my TRACTORS sexy!

Ty took the kids out to Uncle Craig's barn over the weekend to ride the tractors, feed the horses and scoop some dirt! I'm not sure who had more fun, Ty or the kids! They all looked so cute, who would think something so simple would make them all so happy!

Brooklyn's First Primary Program!

Brooklyn's Part in the program...."The prophet teaches me what I must do to live with God again."

Do you think she actually got up and said it....NO!

The fear and anxiety of giving her part before Sacrament was more than she could handle!

Pumpkin Pile!

Boston and Tyler took a ride on uncle Clay's tractor this afternoon and had a blast pulling around a trailer full of uncle Scott's pumpkins!

Boston and cousin William also had a chance to play around in the pumpkin pile!

They even rode on the back while uncle Nate drove around the property.

Unfortunately, as they were driving through the field the fun came to an end when the overloaded pumpkin wagon broke and all of the pumpkins scattered!

The cousins at the Denver zoo!

Grandpa Clarkie pulling the kids in a zebra jeep wagon at the zoo... they had a blast!

Boston celebrating the purchase of his cotton candy! Healthy eater!

Mr. and Mrs. George

This past weekend we headed back to our old stomping ground (Provo) to watch Mr. George (Andrew) strut his stuff in a BYU football game... While there we headed to Springville to catch a Kindergarten class from Mrs. George (Tawny)! Boston jumped right in like he was one of her students!

The Week of the Boss

So, as you know already this past Monday was Bostons 3rd Birthday... It seems as though the birthday celebrations are never ending and Boss has no complaints! Here is the breakdown of the festivities....

Shopping with Grandma Shirley
Each year Grandma Shirley takes the kids shopping for their birthday and this was Boston's first shopping trip with grandma! He came away with quite the haul of trucks and a huge smile having spent some quality time with great grandma.
(this is obviously not a photo of the birthday shopping - I left my camera at home)

Brownies for Breakfast and presents from Grandma Ronda and Bop Bop while they were here.. Thanks for the "Puter" and Newts, I love them!

A birthday party with friends and family at Boondocks, complete with Go Carts, Arcade Games, Pizza, Monkey Cupcakes, and a Jungle Gym! Thanks to all that made it, we had a blast!

A Celebration at Montessori
For each student's birthday at Montessori they get to bring and pass out a birthday treat to their classmates and participate in a special birthday ceremony - Boston brought blue cupcakes with yellow sprinkles! As they all sit around their rug for "line time" the teacher lights a candle in the middle of the circle and lays out strips of paper for each month of the year around the candle. Then the birthday kid holds a globe and walks around the "sun" candle for every year they are old - just like the earth revolving around the sun - while the teacher explains their major life changes as the months go by... being born, learning to crawl, walking, etc. up until that day. Pretty neat!

Crosseyed lady Bug!

I had to post this picture of Brooklyn... We broke out the kids past years costumes and Brooklyn was modeling the Lady Bug from 2004.. It was HILARIOUS!

Singing Praises of My Sister!

My older sister, Tarah or Dojo as my kids have lovingly named her, ran her 1st Marathon today! Yeah!! We are so proud of you Tarah...(& a tad jealous..hehe!) It's not easy (not that I would have any clue) training all summer for a marathon with a 9 month old roaming around, living in Phoenix where it doesn't drop below 102 degrees regardless of what time you wake up to run! You are a champ & we love you for it!
