We DID it!

Despite the fact that Tyler was sick with food poisoning 24 hours prior to the race, and I haven't run as far as the mailbox and back in the last 4 years we ran the Bolder Boulder today and it was a total blast! ( I can't feel my legs, and I may not be able to get out of bed tomorrow, but hey, it was totally worth it!) JoEllen, Clarke, Tyler, Skip and I all started together and met up at Folsom Stadium @ CU! Congrats Skip for your big Victory....(He won out of our group and Clarke promised him text messaging if he could beat him.... Yippie Skippy!)

Trip to Arizona!

As many of you have heard and for those of you who haven't we had planned on going on a Western Carribean Cruise with my family this past week.... Well long story short about 3 days before we were set to sail, my older sister called to confirm that they were going to be putting a port-a-crib into her cabin for her 5 month old Maddux... The lady on the phone so kindly notified my sister that infants under the age of 6 months are not allowed on any Cruise Ship... Ahh!!! So everyone went into panic mode, my poor dad pleaded with the Cruise line for hours to see if they would make an exception and the verdict was a big NO! So nobody felt right about leaving my sis and her adorable little family behind so we postponed the trip until Maddox will be old enough and we can all go together as a family! So we are now counting down to August 17th when we will board (as my kids call it) the big boat!

The week turned out to be a blast anyway cause we packed up and headed to the desert to visit my family!! Were feeling pretty lucky because now were able to have 2 vacations with the Craig Clan this summer! Here are some pics of our quick trip to Phoenix!

We waited about 45 minutes to get a bite of this bundle of joy!

Yum! Yum!

Don't let this lush tree fool you, this is one of 6 green tree's in the Phoenix Area! Wink, Wink!
Enjoying Grandma and Bop Bop's pool! This picture was taken at approximately 6:30 am, my kids would wake up, rip off their PJ's and come into our bed with their swimsuits ready to go!
A little potty training! Any suggestions? I'm dying a slow death here!

Mothers Day!

I LOVE Mothers Day! I love the flowers, the chocolate, the Sacrament Primary programs & the get togethers... I was disappointed that I wasn't able to be with my own Mother (we had planned to be Cruising through the Carribean for Mothers Day, but thats a whole different post) but I am looking forward to seeing her on TUESDAY! We spent the afternoon up in Thornton where we surprised my Mother in Law and went to her church and then headed to Clay and Jeanie's for her Mothers Day BBQ! Uncle Clays house is always a kick for the kids, but causes me stomach ulcers the entire time while I am constantly worrying that my kids have fallen into one of multiple lakes, fallen from the 3 story high playhouse, broken a limb trying to "play" with the bigger kids on the trampoline or have been attacked by "the mother goose..." But we made it home safely...

Thanks for making my mothers Day so special Ty, BC and Boss! You're the best! I love you! A

This is definitly going to be added to my birthday wish list!

I just had to post this picture of Bryn... This is how she looks everyday after she has ripped out her hair-do & Changed her clothes into her PJ's at least 3 times daily after school... The girl likes to be comfortable, whats there to say about that?? Isn't she adorable?

Womens Conference 2008

This past weekend, my friends (both old and new) had our annual girls trip to Provo for Womens Conference 2008! We seriously had a BLAST! Although I was so excited to see my hubby and kids again, I'm so sad the weekend has already come and gone! Before we arrived we received our booklets outlining our weekend... When we received the booklet it said the final speaker was going to be announced... It ended up being President Thomas S. Monson! It was such an amazing treat! He is such an amazing speaker and you could feel his spirit so strong! The room was silenced as he and his sweet wife were walking in and suddenly the room broke into "We Thank Thee O' God for a Prophet.. It was such an amazing and memorable experience..

Thanks girls for such a memorable, hilarious (my abs and cheeks are still recovering from laughing so hard our 3rd trip through Krispy Kreme and our new friend "Roy" at the front desk!) and spiritual weekend! I wish I would have taken more pictures, but I always felt so guilty when we would ask a random stranger to take our picture and we would bust out 6 cameras! I will be stealing more pictures off of Molly's blog in the next few days! Love and miss you all already! Can't wait for WC 2009!

Some of my favorite quotes from the weekend...
"Find joy in the journey NOW! Do not procrastinate the things that matter most, do NOT save things for special occasions..Someday and one day must be removed from our vocabularies because one day each of us will run out of tomorrows!" Thomas S. Monson

"When we come to the end of our rope, tie a knot and hang on!" Thomas S. Monson

"If you have children at home, now is the time to be with them. The Lord promises that you will have time to do the things that you desire to do, or that those desires will simply leave you..." Sheri Dew
