No camera!

I just wanted to let everyone know (in the event that anyone actually cares) that our camera finally died last week and I haven't made it to buy another one yet... Thus the reason for the drop in frequency of my posts... I think I might actually succumb to the blog trend and catch up on a couple of the 15 tags that I haven't respond to over the past two months...Oppps! Amber

All Sacked Out!

Yesterday the kids and I did a marathon trip through the Denver Zoo... I thought I was exhausted until I glanced back to see this on the drive home! Boston had begged me to drive through "Tinker Bell" and get him some Cinnamon Twist treats for the drive home... I guess he held on long enough just to get a taste.. So Cute!

Happy Conference Sunday!

I loved Conference this year, actually it may have been one of my favorite ever! There were so many great talks...specifically the one's about family and motherhood... lately I have been feeling a little inadequate & overwhelmed with my motherly duties and sometimes a little pep talk is all I need!

This was my favorite conference moment today given by M. Russell Ballard in his talk...

"...the biggest mistake I made is the one that most of us make...I did not live in the moment enough. This is particularly clear now that the moment is gone, captured only in photographs. There is one picture of the three of [my children] sitting in the grass on a quilt in the shadow of the swing set on a summer day, ages 6, 4 and 1. And I wish I could remember what we ate, and what we talked about, and how they sounded, and how they looked when they slept that night. I wish I had not been in such a hurry to get on to the next thing: dinner, bath, book, bed. I wish I had treasured the doing a little more and the getting it done a little less."

School PIcture Day!

Today is Brooklyn's first school picture day and needless to say this morning has been a production... multiple curling irons, tons of hairspray, multiple outfits, a few tears... PHEW! She's now out the door with Tyler on her way to school and the end result is adorable! (Let's just hope she doesn't do too much damage in her booster on the way there. :)

Can you tell that Boston wanted a little attention?
